Instructions for Login

To access the proxy server contents you need to do the following:

  • The username is formed by putting in the first letter of your first name, your entire last name, and the last two digits of your student id number.
  • Your password is created by using your eight digit birthdate. So if your birthdate was July 6, 1988, then your password would be 07061988.

If you put in your username and eight-digit birthdate for your password and you cannot get in, then do the following:

  • Go to CampusConnect. CampusConnect is at: http://www.se.edu/campusconnect/
  • Login to Campus Connect by clicking on the login to CampusConnect button on this page.
  • Your student ID should be your social security number
  • Your password will be your eight digit birthdate.
  • You then should be taken into CampusConnect. On this page there will be a tab in the top of the page in the middle called Student Info. Click on this.
  • Now the second link on this menu will be Change your lab PC/Student Network Password.
  • Click on this link.
  • There will be a space on this page where you can change your password. Type in your password twice and then click on Change Password. Your password will be changed. However, the system updates passwords every fifteen minutes. So you could have to wait about 15 minutes until your password change takes effect.
  • Once your password has been changed, then go back to the Proxy server link on the main Library page.
  • Click on this link again and then reenter your username and put in your new password. You should be allowed access.
